Electric car the biggest technical challenge and solar panel price is the first battery

Electric car batteries is big, the price is expensive, and can catch fire, as gm in its Chevy Volt power inverter (Chevy Volt) found in a hybrid car.

According to the price of cars, the gasoline accounted for 70% of the retail price of petrol stations in Europe, electric cars to compared with gasoline engine and diesel engine car is competitive on price, oil price would need to climb to $300 a barrel to $500.

In countries with low gasoline taxes of solar panel price would need to climb to a higher level.

In the United States, need to rising oil price to $800 a barrel,power inverter while in China, oil prices need to rise to $500 to $700 a barrel.

In warburton's view, only when economically worthwhile (electric cars, falling prices, or become cheaper) due to government subsidies,solar panel price "with logical thinking" consumers will buy new energy vehicles. 

He didn't see any signs that China's auto makers will be able to significantly reduce production cost of electric cars, so the only remaining question is, in the name of improving national energy security, Chinese government in support of new energy vehicle technology development will be how far.
